11:06:01 From Liliane Mavridara to Everyone:

   It's beautiful Jim!

11:06:17 From Kurt Johnson to Everyone:

Interesting that of the @300 species and @20 genera of organisms I have officially named, likely 1/3 are now extinct; some were at the time I officially “described” them; that’s the taxonomic term for officially naming a species…which is done thru the protocols of the International’s Code for Zoological Nomenclature

11:06:34 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Wow! Beautiful, Clair! Exactly, our beautiful birds!

11:07:19 From Roz Bound to Everyone:

11:07:59 From Dita Vizoso to Everyone:

   Buenas Tardes desde Escocia!

The sun is already on its way down after a sunny, chilly, heartfelt, scary, quiet, busy day here in Glasgow.  Feeling moved and with an expanded heart after Jim's beautiful opening.

11:13:11 From Kurt Johnson to Everyone:

Yes, for instance, in places like Hawaii where species begin/began by “founder effect” [coming in from somewhere else and establishing a new lineage there], it is documented that scores of species have come, established, gone extinct etc.

11:14:47 From Kurt Johnson to Everyone:

Yes, that’s also my Presence here:  Prosocial— ::https://www.prosocial.world/:: with Dr. David Sloan Wilson et al. who worked with Ostrom.  Just working on a paper with D.S. Wilson to day on “conscious evolution”…. small worlds!

Yes! Lesley! CALL TO ACTION! Building the Grid of Good on the Planet 🌎

11:16:10 From Dita Vizoso - Stories from the COP to Everyone:

There's an amazing diversity of moods here in Glasgow, lots of Business as Usual, mixed with the colourful batucadas of the Greenwash March, joined by a wilde array of peoples and ideologies.  Watched by skeptic youth, angry bystanders, emotional pensioners, absent-looking homeless.  It is both heartbreaking and hopebringing.

11:16:17 From Hilary Van Welter to Everyone:

Yes Jane - and while cooperation lives inside of our DNA - it requires re-enculturation.

11:43:30 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

   Each love a piece.

11:43:37 From Kurt Johnson to Everyone:

Turns out I do have to leave on the hours.  From my work with the Nature Conservancy — With grassland ecosystems, be they Tropical (“fine grained”, thus very fragile) or Temperate (“course gained” — more dispersed so perhaps less fragile) the problem is that they operate like a chain.  One situation in time and space creates the conditions  for another, or the next.  So when you break the chain the whole system can come down.  THUS, when you create preserves or protected areas its VERY hard to maintain the whole ecosystem and usually you get something MUCH less— there are ecological terms for it.  But the result is you MAY see some of the original native grassland plans in those protected areas but you won’t see the native insects and the native birds…. not to mention the mammals!  There are many ecological terms for this but it means that grassland systems are very fragile, and often, globally already in “post-climax” or “dis-climax”…. i.e. the original ecosystem no longer there.

11:43:44 From Jane M to Everyone:

   Agree Lesley.

11:44:12 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:

11:44:44 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:

Allow for the fact that the hear

11:45:02 From Jane M to Everyone:

Still would like to hear more from Indigenous voices.

11:46:05 From Lesley Southwick-Trask to Everyone:

If we listen deeply to conversations taking place on this platform, we experience the plethora of organizations and initiatives that are resiliently offering solutions. They are fractals. It is time to align them into the whole in which each of us are holding a powerful key.

11:46:24 From KATHERINE AUGUSTINE to Everyone:

For another discussion for the Frontliners, to Marie Noelle’s point, how do we work in cities and communities to reduce or even stop development. They’re still just flatlining areas here - all the trees, plants, animals… Up until now. Would love a session on this.

11:46:40 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:

Pome: Allow for the fact that the soul is a cheetah, flashing and swift, that finds life difficult in captivity. Gabriel Bardford Millar

   "Dear ones...

Embrace one another with a sense of community, to support each other.

Do not allow fear to have a grip on your heart, rather be an attentive observant of current developments. most on the planet are moving into experiencing with the absolute reassurance...

You dear ones are protected -shielded if you will. Know….The energetic vibration of love creates the field to overpower any lower frequency.

Dear ones… Do have always present... You are empowered by the high frequency emotions generated by your thoughts and beliefs systems.

Embrace these events as opportunities to be compassionate, supportive, creative, in unity and joy. Joy to have one another, to share, to give...without fear to move forward, finding and expressing creative ways to diverge, to overcome.

You are One (And) one community among the many.. Be one with each other.

This is a time of activation, clearing and integration.. The systems built to contain you are breaking apart.."

Economics vs Life is the litmus test!

11:54:39 From Lesley Southwick-Trask to Everyone:

Thank you Yasmina - your words ring true for me.

11:54:55 From Yasmina Groenstein to Everyone:

this message was received in October 2019...

11:55:11 From Kurt Johnson to Everyone:

Reposting before I have to leave on hour, again noting that of the @300 species I have named officially, 1/3 have not been seen since.  RE GRASSLANDS— From my work with the Nature Conservancy — With grassland ecosystems, be they Tropical (“fine grained”, thus very fragile) or Temperate (“course gained” — more dispersed so perhaps less fragile) the problem is that they operate like a chain.  One situation in time and space creates the conditions  for another, or the next.  So when you break the chain the whole system can come down.  THUS, when you create preserves or protected areas it’s VERY hard to maintain the whole ecosystem and usually you get something MUCH LESS that survives— there are ecological terms for it.  But the result is you MAY see SOME of the original native grassland plants in those protected areas but you won’t see the native insects and the native birds…. not to mention the mammals!  So this makes the effort to protect EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and often simply it doesn’t work since it’s too late

11:55:55 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Yes! The power of the peoples resources is important

11:56:27 From Doreen Tanenbaum to Everyone:

Blessings Yasmina for sharing the love and light!

11:56:28 From Lesley Southwick-Trask to Everyone:

the origin of economics comes from  caring for the household

11:56:47 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

George: Disease & cure located within the same body, disease-ignorance and hubris, denial of wisdom traditions, stepped off path from thinking our right/superiority, Greta: “ignorer to not be doing enough, they have to be doing something, in many ways they are not even doing that.” Humanity is unmindful of danger to ourself and species going to Extinction, Exclusive worship at the alter of the god of economics, incapable of adjusting short term limits for long term gains, some countries during COVID were forced to turn down economic flame in small ways for ensuring survival of the whole, waterways, air quality, Power of 1-Xcercise, forget we can vote for future with each choice-use/spend resources at our disposal, eliminate oil/gas stocks from portfolios, impact on changes policies, justified by making money, power in buying so many things that are deadly on our life support systems, turn off media that spreads misinformation, reach sponsors that support that media, disease: enormous # of things every day!

11:56:51 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Every day…the spin CAN be turned down! Thank you 🙏 George!

11:57:17 From Yasmina Groenstein to Everyone:

Not my words.... but from those who are supporting the New Earth manifesting....❤⚘

11:57:55 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

Being Coherent on how we walk our path is the difference. I agree 100% with you age saying George!!!

11:58:16 From Doreen Tanenbaum to Everyone:

Yes, Yasmina it is apparent that it was channeled through

11:58:29 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

George: something each one of can do every single day in this world, Power of 1 to Xcercise and responsibility to do this, love the ones who have found their place in doing this work, compassion, heart, find ways to communicate that touch the heart, the rest, the conversations in huge conferences, need to be on the ground win the grass with hearts in their hands, this economic cure inflicted on the planet…

11:59:40 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Yes, Maria…Coherence of integral life of ALL species, is in the Now Moment!

11:59:40 From KATHERINE AUGUSTINE to Everyone:

“DOGS fired us as humans.” - Dr. Laurie Marker

12:14:35 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Ha! The dogs wisdom is important

12:16:36 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

Share the earth with mutual survival. Laurie believes in certification consumers can drive change-forest stewardship certification-if each piece of anything then certification would change human behavior, ecosystem stewardship farming, forestry, (Xtractors Xtracting beyond limits to survivability might be diminished?)

12:16:44 From Matthew Martin to Everyone:

great principle...  if people treat nature and species in a harmful way... (in order to solve a problem they have, or to achieve a human goal), then we need to offer an alternative way (that protects biodiversity) to solve that problem or achieve that human aim.

12:16:58 From Jane M to Everyone:

Right....do they need as much livestock? Has this conflict between Wildlife and local Indigenous farmers always been this way or is this situation something that is recent?

12:18:07 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

Love, the stewardship of the land! Should be prolific on the planet!

12:19:03 From Matthew Martin to Everyone:

in montana, ranchers will kill wolves 'just in case' they might endanger their animals...  but how many of their animals could possibly be eaten by wolves??  like one or two?   big deal !

12:19:25 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

Marie: Xplainer video inspired to know more about Ron of forests, restoring landscapes, water cycle-half of biomass of tree is carbon capable of sequestration, we need trees to seed clouds for rain to feed water cycle, complex science, if cutting trees in Brazilian Amazon affects lands in California> droughts/fires in California, all connected,

12:19:52 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

Share what we know (Listen to indigenous!)

12:20:31 From Dehanna Rice to Everyone:

So true, Marie, empowering the locals affect the global🌎

12:20:33 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

@Matthew Colorado just passed a lw to reintroduce wolves…

12:21:56 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Host and Panelists:

Georg - Please set me up to save the chat...

12:22:11 From Matthew Martin to Everyone:

We need to Protect our forests and even create more; but also need to manage them better and clean up the fallen stuff that can cause fires.. though it is true that fallen bio-matter is overall good for the soil...  but need to make forests fire protected.

12:23:20 From Kathryn Alexander, MA to Everyone:

Yes, Matthew - forests take time. It is the old relationships between all of the forest residents that allow for the adaptation and resilience - time…..

12:23:22 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

George: born a troublemaker, deep sense of justice, where injustice is found-get involved, film/TV/politics, transformational ed, age related issues, believe with responsibility to be human being and do the things he can do to make a difference, with deeply committed humans underneath there is a compassionate heart for life/Earth, in each of these motivated by eternal optimism, critic yes, but optimism for if we are willing in fact can make a difference and that’s our job

12:23:37 From Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Everyone:

   11/11 @ 11am

Just the other day, walking upon Tongva unceded territory, I heard the Hummingbird say, “on November 11, we get to pray or meditate at least 60 seconds to 60 minutes or more at 11 am, everywhere in the world.”

Will you do this also? and share the idea?

You may wish to practice the PeaceMaker Meditation, here's a 15 minute video on the easy, psychosomatic, spiritual practice: ::https://youtu.be/vv1VxDv80wo:: Peace In Everything, Everything With Peace. will reverberate throughout your day… becoming a Dream InDeed, making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and ‘others.’

Georgie: regarding Whitley award winners, there is only a community approach no individual efforts, will not solve 1.5 degrees target, will not reach 1.5 without community, need to change entire infrastructure on planet> govs/biz/communities to do it together, thinking of CoP26, nature based solutions and community level approach is a massive focus, we are currently off 1.5 degrees target, must revise NDC’s grassroots approach, from fossil fuel economy, need to invest in these projects, to sustainable development at grassroots level, bBIODIVERSITY & CLIMATE CHANGE ARE BOTH SIDES OF SAME SURVIVABILITY COIN! Advocate in UK (REFORST THE UK?) involving indigenous communities in climate change is imperative, need wholistic approach to solve this, do it together (We are in this together!)

12:36:09 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

Laurie: agrees collaboration for humans is a solution, how we put our relationships together is about getting to know people, 5 year investment, not raise that man’s children we need that 5 years investment to reverse the current flow of funds, WIN-WIN, creativity in how we go about talking together to work a solution together, hard to find common ground commonality, then bring things we do not agree on to another level, need to learn soft people skills, of respecting the other, work together, living sustaiably in education systems now, collaborating and who should be doing it, true we could do much more together with the right WE, to know we could do more, start tribes where we can do more together, if we get hurt we step away, we can learn from youth how to work together,

12:36:20 From Krispin Sullivan to Everyone:

Life is non-linear. Life is found in our bodies (not our brains) which are one small part of the BODY. Disembodied humans live in a 0-1 state NOT CONNECTED, rejecting living things, seeing them a separate from their lives. Many humans have chosen 'dead things' (all that humans create) over LIFE, all living things. We are not separate from Nature. Nature IS Life.  We are all called to the Body of Life, called home, called to choose Life. All death is our death. All life is our Life. You who are honoring Life, caring for Life, you are the healthy cells in the Heart of Our Body, the ONE Body of Life. Your commitments to the protection and restoration of the planetary biome, in quantity and diversity, will restore the body of Life. When we allow ourselves to see and feel and know the Whole, the One Life, we understand our historic blindness, we realize the darkness of the disembodied. We see the lie of 'dead things' bringing anyone peace, joy, community, family, LOVE.   Thank you all.

Yes Maureen, the idea of "best fitted" a way to describe the ability to collaborate. It means that people fit into society well. I take this way of saying it as an alternative to the erroneous  "Survival of the fittest. Best fitted means best able to work together.

Laurie: future is scary, glad there is some lightbulb going off now, where has that been? Policies/programs groundbreaking for people and Earth> Expand through cheetahs range for model programs with harmony with people (MALI ELEFANT PROJECT ALSO) how many at conferences take things from and do things, change the world to save what we love, (SINGULAR FOCUS ON THE PIECE WE LOVE) does not want to live on earth without them, see that each of us can do things, need louder voices, small/big steps into place, nature based solutions, different investing solutions, we can be the solutions to our problems, not tied into the bigger solutions, but knocking on bigger doors to do more, leed the race to Extinction, animals are helping us all live
