When we meet others on the plain of oneness…we can transcend the “separateness” that occurs through remote connecting. That is not to say that in-person is not needed now so desperately….I would agree 100% but having worked remotely for over 25 years with global teams, etc…”connecting” is still possible on certain levels. My sense of being part of something that connects us all has heightened through this crazy pandemic.

@kurtkrueger Words are important and the meanings we give to them are important…AND there are people who “market and sell” and direct our attention incorrectly. This is obvious in the official ‘social distance’ rather than ‘physical distance’. It’s also a subliminal message being sent to others by using social instead of physical.

Immigrants can speak to the consequences of being physically distanced from their heritage, family, rituals, language, mannerisms- and yet their communications via letter writing, phone calls and finding ways to integrate human needs- can be a model. My Indian heritage made all these sacrifices and accommodations very well known- that community of any kind is the answer to well being. A community is based on the well being of all.

I joined the hospice movement in the early 1980's. WE have come a long way and finally are integrating in a more meaningful and comprehensive way.
The ‘problem’ is not narrow. It is wide. AND it didn’t just start in the 20th or 21st century…it is centuries old and it is also about a patriarchal situation versus our move to a feminine archetype and way of being which is not us against them
