There is something about feeling being ‘imposed’ upon, about being ‘told what to do’ that is a huge trigger in many people. I have seen that as the hook for the populist movement that has resulted in Trump and others. It is AM)azing to me that it those who are most afraid seem to actually want an authority figure.

I would not say that Transpersonal is the sAM)e than Integral. That is what Transpersonals pretend but it is not so. Transpersonal is a movement, a lense to see Reality and a state of consciousness but IT IS NOT AN INTEGRAL THEORY !!!

@Victoria Wonderful idea. Another of my best talks was - the Dalai LAM)a speaking about western thinking and how we don't understand death. He gave a description of the place of death as part of life (using the process of a bud and a blooming flower and then the end of life and dropping seeds. It was wonderful and - really useful for many people since then
