I was involved with an organizationnthat put together a document that gave Nature a 'voice' and developed a Charter of Rights for Nature was brought before the United Nations. There have been quite a few other organizations that have also made attempts to create a similar documaent with limited succes. It is extremenly difficult to create a shift in the attitude towards nature and realize that as a living entity, Nature is entitled to a Charter of rights.
