   To have a white man sit alone discussing the NAC, is beyond abstract; so much in fact that if I was to invite Indigenous elders to this call, or recording, it would be seen as the COLONIAL norm…..speaking with forked tongue

   I wrote a children's story about a little 9 yr. old who had been taken away from her original Indian family and mistreated deciding to walk away and find her original family. It's called The Story of Liliana: A Brave Indigenous Child.  She walks through forests and a squirrel offers her some nuts from his stash, a deer offers her a vegetable garden, an eagle offers her wings but she is scared of falling off but an elf comes by and tells her how not to be afraid.  He teaches her a high meditation so she rises up high and can see from an omniversal point of view and sees where her family resides. Then the eagle returns and offers her a ride on her wings and lo she accepts and eventually finds them and lands. And the family rushes to greet her, saying they have never forgotten her and pray for her every single day. So this is available to share with children and everyone!
