Cormac Cullinan is a director of South Africa's oldest specialist environmental law firm (Cullinan & Associates Inc.). Inspired by meeting Thomas Berry and and by his call for the development of a new jurisprudence based on 10 points (The Origin,Differentiation and Role of Rights, Berry, 2001) Cormac wrote the seminal work "Wild Law: a  manifesto for Earth justice" in 2002.  Wild Law was the first book to use the terms ::::Earth Jurisprudence", "Great Jurisprudence", and "wild law" (to characterise laws that apply Earth Jurisprudence).
