The Earth Harp, the world’s longest playable stringed instrument, was played by William Close. He is well known for his passionate performances, and his ability to delight the senses through sound. Mr. Close has traveled the globe with the Earth Harp, stringing it across canyons, cathedrals, theatre balconies, bodies of water, and many other places.The heart-lifting evening – a gift to the community from the REID Foundation- was hosted by Rex Elsass, Reid Foundation Chairman. Reid Foundation is a national nonprofit founded by Rex Elsass, in honor of his son, Reid, who died as a result of addiction in 2019. The Foundation is dedicated to finding transformative, innovative therapeutic and preventive programs for those struggling with addiction and mental health issues by harnessing the healing power of music and creative expression. | |||
