( | Dr. Kathleen Riley convenes this session, presenting the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (IDSVA), a successful inclusive futurist model for the education of the whole human. IDSVA brings together scholars and artists who believe that the split that has divided the artists from the philosophers no longer serves the future of humankind. We need a new way of thinking that crosses boundaries between art and philosophy.We will hear in this session from three doctoral students who epitomize the fundamental elements of philosophical thinking and poetic thinking that lie at the core of IDSVA. | ||
