Barbe Chambliss will provide a presentation highlighting six of the sixty women throughout the world Barbe has interviewed over thirty years time. This effort culminated in a Ph.D. dissertation, and ultimately in a book titled Women Peacemakers: What We Can Learn From Them. She will describe what this kind of peacemaking is, why it is important, how it is done, and who does it. She will explain why this kind of Conscious Peacemaking has the potential to make war irrelevant.
