Twenty-four years ago, the Pugin-designed Franciscan monastery in Manchester, lay derelict and was listed as one of the 100 most endangered sites in the world by the World Monument Fund in New York. It was listed alongside The Taj Mahal, Macchu Picchu and the Valley of the Kings, leading to its nickname as Manchester’s Taj Mahal. Today, this stunning, fully-restored masterpiece on this sacred site is rising to serve its highest purpose. Dr Neil Hawkes and Jane Hawkes – Neilis a popular speaker on TEDEx, creator of Values-based education and the inner curriculum. Jane is an IFS practitioner and teacher of the inner curriculum
