Human knowledge is doubling every 12.5 minutes. Two thirds of the jobs 10 years ago don’t exist now and two thirds of the jobs now won’t exist in 10 years. We are in a world of hyper complexity where small events everywhere can ricochet through the global system and have major effects everywhere in unpredictable ways. The coronavirus pandemic is an example of how interconnected and unstable the world is. How we redesign education and learning is a critical challenge because the emerging generation and learners everywhere need new mindsets, skillsets and toolsets to navigate an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world. | |||
