My presentation on the Butterfly economy in Louisville, Colorado, near Boulder, April 2011, describes a process of societal metamorphosis which i believe is going on now. It is a process which will leave behind the old consumptive world order based on continual economic growth, and take us into a new convivial world order based on resource efficiency, steady state economy, and more harmonious relationships.
