As Charles and Lauren take some time off this summer, CICOLAB's Monday sessions will spend some time focusing on breakout room protocols. Breakouts are not always especially productive and can get messy, but getting good at doing them could pay huge dividends in the long term.   
A good deal of exploration has already been done, the idea is to now instantiate and practice some of those ideas. The hope is that regularity of roles and structure, along with practice, will develop a huge amount of latent potential in the group.   
Some of the key things to start with are:
    1) Specifying clearly each of the breakout room roles and their responsibilities: recording, summarising, facilitating/leading etc.
    2) Individuals volunteering for/being allocated roles and sticking to them every week, at least for a while. This both gives us a chance to practice and get better at them AND means that it doesn't need to be figured out afresh every week.
    3) Keeping the same pe
