00:21:42    diana:    "Today the Austrian forester Viktor Schauberger is considered to be a pioneer of modern water research and the holistic observation of Nature. As early as the first half of the 20th century he gave urgent warnings of the consequences of uncontrolled exploitation of the environment. As a way out he proposed a radical rethink and the development of totally new concepts of energy production, in harmony with Nature. Schauberger formulated his “C & C principle”: first one has to comprehend Nature, and then one should copy it. The applications of his ideas and his inventions include devices for refined drinking water, spiral pipes for carrying water with reduced friction, environmentally-friendly river regulation, as well as power generation from water and air using the principle of contraction and inward vortexing."

Water is life and it is so difficult to find potable water in the USA!

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

The water is drinkable in Italy, even in Rome.  We should study this

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

REALLY, Alecia?  how wonderful!

Malini says the waters in the sacred river of india is good too… spiritually blessed and good to drink

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:34 AM)

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

What do you think about Veganism in AgroEcology? Not everyone can do this but VEGAN is incredible for many changes in AgroEcology. I’m moving towards it again - ::https://climatehealers.org::

I stayed at an organic farm in Abruzzo, Italy last week and volunteered to help out with the herbs and animals.  Agriturismi are all over Italy and I decided to start each of my tours that I design for Americans to spend a few days at a farm like this before we tour Italy.

YAY Dinesh!!! GREAT project!

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

The word 'factories' was mentioned. When we all eat more sensibly and sustainably (and probably less hahaha), we don't need factories for food!!

Dinesh N to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

organic material thrown on the land degrades quickly here, not in places where they've used lot of chemicals

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Southern Italy, considered poor by the North, is actually rich in indigenous food and culture.  the South is a model for how to live

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Today I planted three trees (a pear, an apple and a cherry) and cooked two lovely dinners for a few neighbours!! Great, eh!! Saw a daughter too!!

The love and the caring!! Yes!! That's the best!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Alecia, you make me want to visit…

Richard Page to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Jean Stevens to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

Doing a body inventory a half hour or so after eating is wonderful advice!

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

I enjoy food too much to eat the air

D Onna Price to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

Eternal thanks !!! "-)

Dinesh N to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

thank you Steven

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

we are part of the lifecycle. We are destined to consume life to have it. How we honour what gives us life is the measure of us.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

Dr. Gabriel Cousens and Conscious Eating, Live food has more energy, grains get cows big and fat… so it’s not second hand food…

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

Education - yes Jean - learn from your own body!! Great!! And Alecia.... yes, I'm a foodie too - one of the dishes I made just now was a risotto - watercress and broccoli!! Yum (laughing as I write hahaha)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

ohh Diane, you keep that up and I’ll be there next week!!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

hahaha xxxxx

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

Costco’s chickens are ALL the same size… They do not allow people to go into any of these factory systems

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

However, 'factory' farming - chemicals for crops is as bad as the animal question - imho xxx

Hannah Gosnell to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Plant based diets can have a huge impact on the land too if it’s produced through industrial row crop agriculture, e.g. Impossible Burger…

If you’re going to eat beef, eat grass-finished beef - not grass-fed. Grass fed can be finished in a feedlot. Grass finished is on the land the whole time. Look for regeneratively raised.

Hannah Gosnell to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Read about the Ag Revolution in Sapiens - mind blowing…

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

neighbourhoods need to feed their own people.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

Yes Shannon. Hence UBI before any and all massive change. Takes away the need for 'jobs' for everyone. Then we can grow food and share it and eat healthily too biggest of all - eat less!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

aho, Diane!! Retirement was the biggest achievement/change of life in my life. Pension = UBI and freedom!!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

So many people think Mr Gates is a goodie!!

Absolutely Shannon. The joy of being a pensioner!! Yaaaay!!1

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

that joy should be everyone’s!

Jean Stevens to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

I love good organic food and am about to have a mango, blueberry, banana, coconut milk, (some grass fed yogurt included with a tablespoon of plant based protein power, a dash of turmeric powder and a dash of organic maca root to start my day.  My motto is do no violence, yoga sutra of ahimsa.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

Totally!! Hence - UBI!! Aren't we lucky!! Let's tel the world!! (hahaha)

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

People who grow lawns in their front or backyards should ALL create food gardens… OR at least create Regenerative plantings. :)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

forgot the money within the food creation system - let the gardeners eat and consumers buy.

forget!!

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

Its all about relationship and appreciating the relationship we are a part of. The technology of everything eliminates that relationship.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

local organic gardens in repurposed buildings  in our urban communities where we grow… happy… together!!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

Oooooh Kurt. Today's biggest task - aiming to convince the local council No Mow May!! Stop chopping the grass!! (As well as the trees, obvs)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

our dandelions are adapting to mowing - they don’t grow any taller than the surrounding grass.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

WOW!!!!!

Did notice the daisies yesterday - some survived!! Quite a few actually!!

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)
