Years ago I started working with the Global Ecovillage Network and started to develop a UN Partnership Initiative to support holistic systemic regenerative approaches to sustainable rural development - particularly in the developing world. One of the Founders of an organization in the partnership put together the program for the US Peace Corps. He came up with an idea to create a global network of Resource and Service Centers in each bioregion in order to support local communities and villages to transition to a sustainable future and care for peoples human needs.
 
Imagine if we could use impact investments to capitalize such a network of Resource and Service Centers around the world.

Rob Wheeler, what an inspiring offering, and I am sensitive to how many practical and inspired “cross-weaving” modules of service and resourcing are floating while trying to source an appropriate funding/sustainment model. I was involved with a social venture consultancy, and noticed a massive gap between the giant reserves of monetary capital, and the immense number of free-range social entrepreneurs without umbrellas.

Years ago I started working with the Global Ecovillage Network and started to develop a UN Partnership Initiative to support holistic systemic regenerative approaches to sustainable rural development - particularly in the developing world. One of the Founders of an organization in the partnership put together the program for the US Peace Corps. He came up with an idea to create a global network of Resource and Service Centers in each bioregion in order to support local communities and villages to transition to a sustainable future and care for peoples human needs.

Imagine if we could use impact investments to capitalize such a network of Resource and Service Centers around the world.

I was involved with a social venture consultancy, and noticed a massive gap between the giant reserves of monetary capital, and the immense number of free-range social entrepreneurs without umbrellas.
