In this week's final session we discuss the potential of AI to transform our collective consciousness and shared understanding of reality. We will look into the intriguing overlap between the developmental stages of human intelligence and the unfolding of AI systems. With the recent strides in LLMs ability to reason without possessing subjectivity, homo sapiens is experiencing a kind of ontological shock - and a profound invitation to focus and cherish our unique human capabilities from a new light.

Are we entering a new age of rational techno-panpsychism?

How does the human condition change if you don't know whether you are speaking to a human being or an AI? Are we hard-wired to feel for and be persuaded by entities that are super-human conversationalists?

Is the neural correlate of good company - as created by speaking AI companions in our brains - comparable to the feeling of being in the presence of a great book - or are we entering uncharted territories?

Joscha Bach, is a trailblazing AI researcher reshaping our understanding of mind and universe. Known for his groundbreaking work in cognitive architecture, his revolutionary insights offer a fresh perspective on artificial intelligence. Born in Weimar, East Germany his work primarily revolves around cognitive architectures, mental representation, emotion, social modeling, and multi-agent systems.
